The Petit Salons

FOOD · STORY · MEMORY · CULTURE · PEOPLE · THE SENSES

The Petit Salons are a collection of intimate experiential, networking and theatrical food journeys by JB Caractere / Cinq Sens, bringing together Chef Julien Beuriot’s culinary world

with Dr Fenia Gianni’s work in mindful eating, wellbeing and theatrical storytelling.

More than a dinner. More than a tasting.

An opportunity to network with like-minded people while eating elegant food.

Each Petit Salon is a new world you enter.

Through food, theatrical storytelling, people gathering, atmosphere, music, sensory environments, and carefully curated moments of participation, guests become part of each story rather than simply watching or eating.

Inspired by French and Mediterranean culture, every salon creates its own immersive world and explores a different aspect of our relationship with food - from memory and pleasure to family, creativity, nature and human connection.

Once you participate in a Petit Salon, you become part of the Petit Salon Circle;

a select group of like-minded people, a networking opportunity to connect professionally and personally and

to create and belong.

Outdoor Dining Table

A SUNDAY IN THE FRENCH COUNTRYSIDE
Slow Living · Food · Family · Connection

Step into the warmth of a French family home, where the table is generous, time moves slowly and nobody is in a hurry to leave.

Inspired by the French art de vivre, this immersive theatrical salon combines French country food, wine, music, atmosphere and storytelling to transport guests into the feeling of a long family meal. The setting and sensory world become part of the story, inviting guests to rediscover the pleasure of eating slowly and being together.

It is a celebration of the long meal — of conversation, friendship, family and the simple luxury of giving one another our time.

“The meals we remember are rarely the most elaborate. They are the ones where time disappears, conversation flows and every shared bite reminds us that food is, above all, an expression of generosity, love and human connection.”

— Chef Julien Beuriot

Outdoor Seating

AN EVENING IN SAINT-GERMAIN-DES-PRÉS
Literature · Chocolate · Ideas · Conversation

Enter the atmosphere of a Parisian literary café.

Inspired by the legendary café culture of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this intimate theatrical salon creates a world of literature, French flavours, music and conversation.

Guests are invited to bring a favourite piece of writing — or simply come to listen — while food, chocolate, sound, light and storytelling evoke the atmosphere of the Left Bank.

For one evening, guests don't simply visit a themed room: they become part of the salon itself, sharing the space where ideas, stories and conversations unfold.

An evening for people who miss the pleasure of sitting around a table with nowhere else to be.

“The great cafés were never simply places to eat or drink. They were places where ideas, friendships and lives were shaped. Some of the finest ingredients are time, curiosity and genuine human connection.”

— Chef Julien Beuriot

Madeleines

 LA MADELEINE DE PROUST
Taste · Childhood · Memory · Storytelling

Can a taste take us home?

Inspired by Marcel Proust’s famous madeleine, this sensory and theatrical salon explores the extraordinary relationship between food and memory.

Through taste, aroma, music, atmosphere and theatrical storytelling, guests are drawn into a journey through childhood, family and the foods connected with people and places we have loved.

A forgotten flavour can suddenly bring back a kitchen, a voice, a summer afternoon or a person we haven't thought about for years. The theatrical environment gently shifts around the guests as personal memories become part of the experience. Food becomes a doorway into memory.

“Sometimes one taste is enough. Suddenly you are back in a kitchen you haven't seen for thirty years, beside someone you loved, remembering the smell, the light, the voices and the feeling of being a child. Food carries these memories quietly inside us. The beautiful thing is allowing them to return.”

— Chef Julien Beuriot

THE BINGE TABLE
Food · Emotion · Compassion · Balance

What are we really hungry for?

A thought-provoking experiential and theatrical salon exploring our emotional relationship with food — including hunger, fullness, comfort, craving, restriction, pleasure and guilt.

Combining culinary experience with mindful eating, behaviour and storytelling, The Binge Table uses theatricality to invite guests into the emotional world surrounding eating rather than simply talking about it.

There are no “good” or “bad” foods here and no diet rules.

Instead, we explore the possibility of finding pleasure, awareness and balance around the same table.

“As a chef, I don't believe food should begin with fear or guilt. Food can nourish us, comfort us and give us enormous pleasure. Balance begins when we learn to listen rather than punish ourselves.”

— Chef Julien Beuriot

Harvesting Grapes

FROM VINE TO GLASS

Wine · Land · Craftsmanship · Gratitude

Before the bottle, there was the vine.

Travel through the wine cultures of France, Italy and Greece in an immersive theatrical and sensory journey exploring the relationship between the land, the people who cultivate it and what eventually arrives at our table.

Wine, food, story, music and atmosphere transform the space, allowing guests to experience the journey rather than simply hear about it.

This is not an experience designed around how much you know about wine, but around what you notice, what you feel and what you discover.

A celebration of craftsmanship, seasonality and gratitude.

“When we reconnect with how food is grown, harvested and transformed, we rediscover that every glass of wine and every shared meal carries the story of the people, the land and the traditions that made it possible.”

— Chef Julien Beuriot

CHOCOLATE, COMFORT & CHILDHOOD
Pleasure · Memory · The Five Senses

Chocolate can carry far more than flavour.

It can hold memories of childhood, grandparents, celebration, affection and comfort.

Through chocolate, theatrical storytelling and a carefully curated sensory world, this salon explores our relationship with pleasure and challenges the idea that enjoyment should automatically come with guilt.

Taste, scent, sound and atmosphere work together to create an intimate experience celebrating memory, tenderness and permission to enjoy food — slowly, consciously and with all five senses.

“Chocolate carries so many lovely memories. A single piece can 'travel' you back in time, comfort, love and celebration. A small bite is a whole world. A taste. A feeling. A sensation”

— Chef Julien Beuriot
